    Description

Kilgore Invincible hammerless design cast iron cap gun from the 1930's era, for parts or repair.
6-1/2" long, 3-5/8" tall, appx. 1" thick, and weighs 11 oz.
Double action with a hinged left side that swings up to reveal roll cap area and the hidden hammer.
Left side marked "INVINCIBLE" with the letter "K" inside a circle.
Right side marked "MADE IN U.S.A.---PAT. APPL'D FOR" with the letter "K" inside a circle.
Two screws with square nuts holds the two parts of the gun together.
Even thought the action is rusted, it still works properly and smoothly.
About 1/2 of the right side of the barrel has been broken off.
This cap gun was probably manufactured by Kilgore to resemble the Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless pistol made from 1887 to 1940.
