As stated in the “CONDITION “ part of this listing, the cap gun is in very good condition and is fully functional. I think it is called “double action” ? because , with hammer down, if you pull the trigger , the hammer pulls back as trigger is squeezed and then snaps down sharply to set off a cap. Also, if you manually cock the hammer back, it will stay back until you pull the trigger.
There is rust as shown in the photos, especially in the cap area.
One side is marked “
KENTON BRONC”
and the other side “
PAT SEPT 12 23”
So I dated it 1923 in the listing. However, I looked in an old 1997 Obrien toy book, which stated this model was made in 1935.. So, what is the actual date of production ?
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me before last day of auction, and I will do my best to answer ASAP.Sorry about sales tax , but eBay automatically collects sales tax for all states that require it, and they take care of submitting it to those State coffers. Circumstances beyond my control. It does not appear in my account. However, if you have a “dealer” resale number, you can apply to eBay to have your purchases done tax free.THANKS for looking.
